Advanced production equipment
Vacuum induction smelting gas atomization equipment (VIGA) is mainly used for the production of alloy powders with melting points below 1700 ℃, such as iron-based, nickel-based, aluminum-based and cobalt-chromium-based alloys. In an inert gas-protected environment, the alloy is smelted It becomes liquid and atomizes. This process avoids the oxidation and volatilization of the metal solution. Currently, there are 4 VIGA production lines in Willary, with a daily output of more than 1 ton of powder products.
The crucible-free induction melting gas atomization equipment (EIGA) is mainly used for the production of titanium alloy powder. By electromagnetic induction heating, the titanium alloy rod is melted into droplets and then atomized. This process is carried out in an argon protective atmosphere. The air is blocked, preventing the alloy from oxidizing. At present, Willari has an EIGA production line with daily production of titanium alloy powder products over 100 kg.
